A LOCAL horror author has revealed the hard graft that goes into a forging a successful career as a writer.
Dave Watson of Inverkip has a string of published titles to his name but revealed that during 2020 he has received 38 rejections, as he urged others in the writing community not to quit.
Dave, who has penned four novels, one collection, eight short stories and five poems, said: "It doesn't get easier even with a few wins under your belt."
