A STRETCH of the A82 will be closed to traffic next week for roadworks to be carried out.

Essential maintenance on the northbound carriageway at Milton, will take place overnight from 8pm to 6am, each night, between Monday, November 16, until Sunday November 22.

The scheme, with a value of £220,000 will improve the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in future.

Around 12,485 vehicles use the route daily.
