A CAFE loved by Glaswegians is to close its doors until next spring "to stop the spread of Covid-19".
The famous Nardini's Cafe in Largs will be closed from today until April 2, 2021.
Its staff will be placed on furlough, according to a statement on the cafe's Facebook page, which also said no jobs would be axed.

The statement added: "We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support in this incredibly challenging year and we look forward to welcoming you all back to Nardini's and Tony Macaroni Largs next year."
The company said it took the steps after the introduction of the Scottish government's tier system and that it wanted to discourage unnecessary travel between areas.
The cafe is a favourite with day-trippers to the Ayrshire coastal town, who, in normal times, travel from across the Central Belt to enjoy the seaside retreat.
