A SEARCH has been launched for a missing man who could be in Port Glasgow.

Police Scotland is appealing for assistance to trace 29-year-old David Geary, who has been reported missing from the Paisley area.

David was last seen at Paisley St James railway station at around 5.10pm on Saturday.

He is described as being white, around 5ft 8, with receding brown hair and slight facial hair and speaks with a Scottish accent.

Inspector James McArthur, from Greenock Police Station, said: "We're appealing for anyone with information about David's whereabouts to please come forward and contact police.

"It is believed that he regularly frequents the Port Glasgow area, in addition to his local Paisley area."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 3797 of November 14.
