A MAN was snared with a stun gun in his home.
Steven O’Hanlon, 36, was caught with the ‘black cobra’ device in his wardrobe at his property in Penilee in October 2018.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard officers raided O’Hanlon’s house after a warrant was granted in connection with a drugs allegation.
Prosecutor Amy Hunter told the court instead officers recovered the weapon.
The hearing was told the weapon was capable of “audible and visible sparks when activated” and was not to be used as a “self-defence device.”
O’Hanlon pleaded guilty to the unlawful possession of the stun gun.
Sentence was deferred for background reports by Sheriff Gerry Considine.
O’Hanlon was granted bail meantime.
