The hunt for a missing man known to frequent several areas in Glasgow has begun. 

David Clark, 48, was last seen in the Ralston area of Paisley at 5.30pm on Wednesday. 

Concerns for his welfare are increasing as officers say it is out of his nature to not keep in touch with his friends or family. 

Enquiries have begun in a bid to trace David's whereabouts.

David is known to frequent the Milngavie, Knightswood and Kings Park areas of Glasgow.

When last seen, he was in a white Volkswagen UP with the registration SK17 MFA.

David is described as white, 6ft 3ins in height and of slim build. He has short, dark-coloured hair with a beard and moustache. He is thought to be wearing a black padded gilet and a black beanie hat.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Paisley Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 2135 of 19 November.
