GLASGOW has the most CCTV cameras of anywhere in Scotland, new figures have revealed.
Less than 4% are controlled by the government, the camera-installation company CCTV.co.uk said.
Glasgow has around 46,000 cameras, according to the data obtained by the company, the vast majority of which are said to be installed by private companies or individuals.
James Ritchey, of CCTV.co.uk said the popularity of cameras was “relentless”.
