GLASGOW knitters are celebrating success at the British Knitting and Crochet Awards.
The two female-led businesses The Yarn Cake and For the Love of Yarn learned of their success on Thursday November 19.
West End based The Yarn Cake, run by Antje Karl, won the award for Best Independent Yarn Shop - Scotland for the third time since 2013.
Bridgeton’s “For the Love of Yarn” owned by Lisa Harland, clinched the prize for Best Independent Hand Dyer.
The pair will soon be launching a joint collection called “Glasgow’s Pure Dead Brillant.”
