STAFF working with community organisations in Govanhill and East Pollokshields are being given access to a new wellbeing programme.
Weekly activities will run until February 2021 and include mindfulness, Tai Chi, shiatsu and Woodland Wellness sessions.
The work of Govanhill Mental Health Support Group and Govanhill Support Workers Group has revealed the impact on staff wellbeing during the pandemic of repeated exposure to people experiencing distress.
The Staff Wellbeing Project aims to support workers and is a partnership led by Govanhill Baths Community Trust, Hidden Gardens, Urban Roots and South Glasgow Health Improvement Team, funded by Govanhill Thriving Places Supporting Communities.
