FIREFIGHTERS cut off a car's roof to free a woman left trapped following an accident in Greenock town centre.
The crash, involving two vehicles, happened at Grey Place, just at the traffic lights opposite Aldi.
Emergency services rushed to the scene around 5pm.
They decided to move the car into the parking area at the adjacent Pyper's carpet store to free the woman by removing the roof from the vehicle.
It is understood no one was seriously injured as a result of the crash.
