A CAR was deliberately set on fire in Blantyre last night.
At around 11.25pm, the vehicle was set alight in Valerio Court.
Police are treating the fire as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Detective Constable Christine McLanachan, from Cambuslang CID, said: “Thankfully nobody was injured as a result of this reckless and dangerous act.

“We are appealing to anyone who has any information or may have been in the area and has possible CCTV or dashcam footage, to please come forward.”
