FIRE crews are still at the scene of a house fire in Newton Mearns.
Four fire engines were sent to Ladeside Close earlier today following reports of the blaze.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.17pm on Wednesday, November 25 to reports of a dwelling fire on Ladeside Close, Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire.

“Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the scene where they remain in attendance as they work to extinguish a fire within a two-storey detached house.
“There are no reported casualties at this time.”
