THREE drivers have been fined by police after they were allegedly parked at a car-free zone near a school.
Yesterday, community officers warned parents and drivers that they were paying extra attention to parking near Hillhead Primary School.
Today, three fixed penalty notices were issued.
Glasgow North West Police posted on Twitter: “In relation to our earlier message about parking issues around @HillheadPrimary, our community officers have issued 3 fixed penalty fines to drivers today.

“The local community officer will continue to closely monitor this issue and will use enforcement where necessary.”
They previously wrote: “Community officers have been providing extra attention to @HillheadPrimary as we have been receiving further reports of problems with parking at the end of the school day.
"We have used encouragement and education previously, but enforcement will be used where necessary.”
