Fake messages claiming to be the Glasgow City Council's grant team have prompted an urgent warning.
The local authority warned residents their team would never request personal details via text messages.
If you are awaiting information regarding support grants, the team will be in touch by phone.

Glasgow City Council issued the warning about the phishing scam on Friday afternoon.
A Facebook post reads: "We have been made aware of support grants text message scam.
"Our grants team would never ask for personal details via text message. The team will be in touch by phone if they need to discuss your application."
