A WORSENING coronavirus outbreak has left only three classes being taught at a Gourock school.
The Tele understands that pupils and teaching staff from a seventh class at Moorfoot Primary are now isolating at home following continued positive tests.
Our source says that some of the staff have relatives they care for at home and are becoming increasingly concerned.
On Friday, education bosses said the school would remain open, despite the rise in positive tests.
In a letter to parents, Moorfoot Primary head teacher Alison Irvine said that the school was 'acting swiftly' and that government guidelines were being 'strictly adhered to'.
