A TEENAGER missing from Cambuslang was spotted boarding a train bound for London. 

Kai Rae, 16, was seen boarding a train for London on Monday, November 23. 

Police Scotland are now working with the London Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police to track missing Kai.

His family are growing increasingly worried for his wellbeing and search parties took place to scour areas in Glasgow and South Lanarkshire after his disappearance on last Monday. 

A Facebook group has been set up to coordinate efforts to find Kai and has already seen over 1000 members join. 

Police described him as being of a slim build, around five feet and six inches tall, with short brown hair.

Inspector Steven McManus said: "Following extensive CCTV enquiries, we have found that Kai boarded a train bound for the London area on Monday, November 23.

"We are now working with the Metropolitan Police and the British Transport Police to find him."

In a statement released last week, officers at Lanarkshire Police Division said: "If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Kai please contact police via 101 and quote incident number 20201123-1144."
