A woman has been hospitalised after being struck by a van yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Mill Street in Rutherglen at 5.05pm.
The pedestrian had been crossing the road before she was hit by the vehicle.
She was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to her injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Around 5.05pm on Tuesday, 1 December, 2020, police were called to a road crash where a pedestrian was struck by a van whilst crossing Mill Street, Rutherglen.
"The woman was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
