SCOTS celebrities including Judy Murray, Colin McCredie, Sanjeev Kohli and Fred MacAulay have teamed up with a Glasgow dementia charity for its festive campaign.

Playlist for Life, set up by broadcaster, writer and former Glasgow Times Scotswoman of the Year Sally Magnusson, is hoping its My Festive Memory project will raise awareness of the power of music for people living with dementia.

Stars are posting social media videos sharing a song and the happy memories it brings back. It is a response to the social isolation many people living with dementia and their carers face this Christmas due to care home visitation restrictions and the need for vulnerable people to shield at home.

Supporters can also donate £5 to the charity in exchange for a personalised Christmas card.
