A GLASGOW family will feature in the first season of the reality series The Real Housewives of Jersey next month.

The latest UK spin of the popular franchise will star Scot Tessa Hartmann who set up the Scottish Fashion Awards.

The 50-year-old, who received an honorary doctorate from Glasgow Caledonian University, is mum to rising popstar Tallia Storm who has previously appeared on the reality TV series Celebs Go Dating. Tallia is a former pupil of Balfron High School near Glasgow. 

Tessa's husband Sascha, 40, and their daughter Tessie, 23, a financier, and sons Johnnie, 16, and Zach, 13 are also expected to appear on the ITVBe series. 

The brand-new ten-part series will see some of the island’s most fabulous Housewives embrace all that Jersey has to offer. A combination of St Tropez and St Ives, Jersey has everything from tranquil beaches to glitzy parties.

Other housewives will make their debut including Ashley Cairney, Hedi Green, Jane Rayner, Kate Taylor, Mia Ledbury, and Margaret Thompson.

The popular franchise started in the states with The Real Housewives of Chesire becoming the first UK version of the reality show in 2015.
