Woman found dead in Springburn lane near shopping centre as police tape off street
UPDATE: POLICE REVEAL CIRCUMSTANCES OF TRAGIC SPRINGBURN DEATH
A WOMAN was found dead in the street in Springburn.
Police taped off Hillkirk Street Lane at its junction with Carleston Street near to the Springburn Shopping Centre earlier today.
She was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Around 9.20am on Friday, December 4, 2020 police were called to a report of concern for a woman in Carleston Street in Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended but the woman was found to be deceased. Enquiries are ongoing."
