PRIMARK stores in Glasgow are due to reopen this Friday. 

The bargain clothing giant's three Glasgow stores are due to open from 8am on Friday. 

The Argyle Street, Sauchiehall Street and Parkhead stores will take advantage of the Scottish government's new rules on retail shops which come into force from Friday.

Glasgow Times:

Shops in Glasgow will be allowed to open from 6am but Primark will make its customers wait just two more hours before stocking up on Christmas clothes and stocking fillers.

Primark Braehead will remain open from 9am on Friday, December 11 through until 9pm on Saturday, December 12. 

Glasgow Times:

All other stores across Scotland will trade until at least 8pm on weekdays until 23 December.

Primark CEO, Paul Marchant, said: “We are delighted to re-open all of our stores in Scotland on December 11, with longer shopping hours to give our customers more time to safely do their festive shopping.
