A NORTH Lanarkshire retirement development has given residents messages of goodwill, with a special 'Tree of Hope'.
The decorated Christmas tree, which has been placed in the foyer of Campie Gardens, will display messages of motivation which have come from the local community including nearby primary school, St Mary's.
Margaret McCallum, Development Manager at Campsie Gardens and the brains behind the project, said: “Everyone is really looking forward to getting the tree up and sharing positive messages.
"In the development, we have had lots of conversations revolving around hope and light at the end of the tunnel so it just seemed right to have something central in the development to highlight this."
The local community can contribute to the tree by sending messages on social media or by directly sending a message on a gift tag.
