A CAR burst into flames on a busy motorway passing through Glasgow's East End.
The black car was seen ablaze in the hard shoulder of the M74 at Carmyle at around 2.30pm today.
Emergency services have been called to the scene.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said there were no reports of any injuries.

A spokesman Police Scotland said they were aware of the incident but had no further information on the incident at this time.
Traffic Scotland said on Twitter that lane one on the southbound carriageway was closed as a precaution.
