Concerns have been mounting for a missing man after he disappeared over two weeks ago.

Graham Brady was last seen at 10pm on Tuesday, December 1 in the Whitehall Crescent area of Carluke.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the 35-year-old's welfare as they say it is "out of character" of him to not be in contact with his family.

Residents in the area are being urged to check outbuildings, sheds and garages in a bid to trace his whereabouts.

Graham is described as 6ft 2inches, of a slim to medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, he was wearing a tan/green coloured jacket with fur around the good, black trousers, a blue/white striped jumper and white/red Nike trainers.

Lanark Inspector Brian Lindie said: "Graham has not been seen for two weeks now and we are very concerned for his safety and wellbeing.

"We believe he may still be in the Carluke area and would ask residents to check any garages, sheds or outbuildings they have in case Graham may have sought refuge there in the cold weather.

"It is out of character for Graham not to be in contact with family for this length of time. His family and friends are naturally very worried.

"I would also appeal directly to Graham: If you see this, please get in touch with police, or your family, to let us know you are safe."

If anyone has seen Graham, or has any information on his whereabouts, please contact police on 101, quoting reference number 2184 of 6 December.
