A car on fire has prompted the closure of a M8 lane nearby Glasgow Airport.
Traffic Scotland confirmed an eastbound lane nearby Junction 29 was close at 9am.
Nobody was injured in the incident and fire crews have extinguished the blaze.
Drivers can expect delays with queues already forming on the major motorway.

Lane 1 of 2 is closed due to a vehicle fire.

It is unclear how long the lane will remain closed.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 9am on Thursday, December 17 to reports of a car on fire on the M8 Eastbound between Junction 28 and 29, Renfrewshire.
"Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene, where crews worked to extinguish the fire.
"There were no reported casualties.
"Firefighters remain at the scene."
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
