A man has died after being attacked on New Year's Day.
Emergency services were called to the Park Drive area of Erskine just before 1pm on Friday, January 1.
They say a man had been assaulted and died at the scene.
Images online show a large police presence in the area, with forensic officers working within an area cordoned off with police tape.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, and say enquiries are at an early stage.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We were called around 12.55pm on Friday, January 1, 2020, to a report of a man being assaulted in the Park Drive area of Erskine.
"He sadly died at the scene. Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances of what happened.”
