Sex attack on teenage girl in Glasgow park sparks urgent police probe
Police are investigating a sexual offence on a teenage girl in a Glasgow park.
The force confirmed they received a report of the incident in Edler Park yesterday evening.
Sections of Elder Park currently remain closed off to members of the public.
Police say inquiries are currently at an early stage.
A spokesman said: "Officers in Glasgow are investigating following a report that a teenage girl was the victim of a sexual offence in the Elder Park area in the evening of Sunday, 3 January.
"Enquiries are at an early stage and ongoing."
