NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde - Scotland's largest health board - has seen the highest number of coronavirus deaths of any area in the country. This includes Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and the surrounding suburbs of Glasgow not including Lanarkshire.
A Glasgow city council spokeswoman said: "As the largest local authority it’s not surprising that we will have the highest PPE bill – money spent to keep our staff safe during the ongoing global health pandemic.”
