CITY coffee roasting company Dear Green has been recognised alongside some of the world’s leading brands for its ethical business practices.
The east end-based company, set up by Lisa Lawson nine years ago, has gained coveted B Corp status raising hopes it could be the coffee supplier for the UN Climate Change Conference, COP26, which takes place in Glasgow later this year.
Other brands to receive B Corp status include Innocent,The Body Shop and Brewgooder
Lisa said: ”Gaining B Corp certification is one of our proudest moments at Dear Green. It has been a tough year to be in business. To finish 2020 knowing that we are now part of the supportive B Corp community which will help us to put even more purpose before profit gives renewed focus to the next part of our coffee roasting journey.”
