A CAR was stopped in the city which had travelled from Birmingham, police have revealed.
Officers in the city's North East division arrested the driver following the breach of lockdown regulations.
A spokesman for the division said: "Local officers stopped a car that travelled from Birmingham in breach of regulations.
"Driver arrested - no licence, no insurance, drugs offences.
"Passenger arrested - immigration offences.
"Car seized.
"Blatant disregard for the law and public safety."
The force tweeted information on the incident last night but did not provide any more details.
