Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has stepped up his plans to leave Parkhead by acquiring a new agent.

The Hoops striker has penned a deal with London-based Stellar Group - who represent the likes of Gareth Bale, Jack Grealish and Kieran Tierney.

The Scottish Sun report that Edouard is keen for his new representitives to land him a big money move to the English Premier League or abroad.

The French youngster was the subject of increased transfer speculation over the summer, with a number of high profile European clubs monitoring his position.

Arsenal, Aston Villa and Leicester City are just three clubs rumoured to be interested in his services from the top flight in England.

Neil Lennon is desperate to keep hold of the Frenchman who scored 28 goals in all competitions last season, though he accepts there will be big clubs circling the striker.

As has happened in the past, Celtic have sold on some of their big gun players and would hope to be prepared in the event of it happening again with Edouard.

With negotiations still ongoing, Lennon insists he and his recruitment staff will still monitor contingency plans. Though he hopes Edouard will stick around.

"It's as you were with contract talks, there has been no further movement one way or another on it," the Celtic boss said previously.

"Whether it's Edouard or any other player, in previous years we sold guys like Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney – it's not something we won't be prepared for. It's not something that we want but there may be intense speculation surrounding a number of our players so we have to plan ahead.

“That's what we do, it's like a circular motion – we have to keep the wheels moving and be prepared for any eventuality when the market opens. It's going to be a long transfer window until October. There will be pros and cons – sometimes that can work in your favour, other times to your detriment.

“We'll have to adapt to that as well and be patient."
