I WAS saddened but not surprised to hear of the binman ending up in hospital after falling on ice in Dennistoun.
Never mind Queen’s Park – the whole city has become an ice rink.
You can’t walk from A to B without coming close to keeling over.
While the council claims its gritters are out, I don’t think they’re reaching every area of Glasgow.
The budget slash is becoming more and more prominent and residents and council employees are having to pay the price.

I CAN’T visit loved ones in Drumchapel or care homes. Yet overpaid millionaire footballers can go on a jolly to Dubai.
You’re having a laugh. The First Minister should throw the book at all of them – they’re making a mockery of the Covid rules.
They are causing upset to all who can’t see family in these harsh times and putting pressure on the emergency services.
The football authority should also take drastic action.
What’s the point having a lockdown when footballers think they are above the law?

CELTIC’S trip to Dubai shows total disregard for everyone, including themselves!
Nicola Sturgeon should immediately ban their return to Scotland which would mean they would miss home games and lose money (which would break the Celtic board’s heart).
I hope that on their return the First Minister isolates them in one place (they can easily afford a hotel) for at least 28 days.
An example MUST be set to highlight the gravity of this pandemic and such a high-profile group as Celtic FC would hopefully and finally get the message across.

HAVING just watched BBC Reporting Scotland, I would like to know why it was allowed to be turned into a party political broadcast on behalf of the Scottish Conservative party?
The current Tory leader was given time to spread his dogma by a very, let’s say, compliant and lenient presenter, who made it clear she was happy not to interrupt or question any of his statements.
Another blatant example of this London-run grovelling organisation’s bias.
No rebuttal from any other Scottish political parties allowed.
