Odsonne Edouard is a CERT to leave Celtic this summer.

That's the view of former Sunderland and England striker Kevin Phillips.

Edouard swapped agencies earlier this month to sign up with giants Stellar Limited who also represent the likes of Gareth Bale, Jack Grealish and Chelsea duo Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell, among plenty of other top tier footballers.

The Frenchman has not yet signed a new deal at Parkhead despite conversations ongoing for a number of months and Phillips believes it is nailed on that Edouard will leave Glasgow for pastures new after the switch.

"When a player switches agents, there is a reason why,” he told Football Insider. "There is no smoke without fire. Edouard will certainly, for me, move on in the summer and leave Celtic. That is a confirmation that he is going to leave.

“It is a real shame for Celtic but I think someone in the Premier League will benefit from him. There will be clubs queuing up for his signature at the end of the season.”

Former PSG striker Edouard is believed to have a price tag of around £30million on his head and Celtic will hope to cash-in on their top talisman at risk of losing him on the cheap should his contract run down.
