Two employees at a Tesco in Greenock have died after contracting Covid-19.
Tesco bosses confirmed the deaths at the Inverclyde branch and a spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with their families and we are supporting our store colleagues at this difficult time."
It comes amid fears over a coronavirus outbreak at the store, the Daily Record reports.
Inverclyde is among the highest Covid rates in Scotland, with 456 cases per 100,000 according to latest figures.
Another 1865 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Scotland according to the latest figures.
