A man donning a kilt was spotted blissfully floating down the River Clyde this afternoon on top of a paddleboard.
After days of subzero temperatures, Glaswegians woke to blue skies and highs of around 3°.

Although many of us are still wrapped up in hats and scarves, one man braved the chilly elements and fished out his best Scots attire to make the most of the sunny rays.
His jaunt comes just as Glasgow has been issued another yellow weather warning for ice.

Residents have been warned to take caution as blankets of ice are forecasted to hit pavements and roads again this evening.
With clear skies forecast for most of today, the temperature will reach a high of only 2° and overnight lows of zero.
