A THUG knocked a man waiting on his train home unconscious with a bottle of Buckfast.
Dominic Humble, 22, pounced on Daniel McLaughlin at Glasgow’s Carntyne train station on September 19 last year.
The brute had initially brandished the bottle before striking the victim once on the head.

Humble pleaded guilty today at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the assault to Mr McLaughlin’s injury.
The court heard the stricken victim had been at a friend’s house with others pals before leaving at 6pm.
Mr McLaughlin was waiting at the station’s platform and Humble later attended with the bottle.
Prosecutor Claire Wallace said: “The accused approached the victim and brandished the bottle of Buckfast.
“He proceeded to strike Mr McLaughlin with the bottle which resulted in him falling to the ground and he became unresponsive.”

A 999 call was made and Humble fled the scene but was later arrested at his home.
Humble was later found to have a lump on his head which required no further medical treatment.
Garvey McCardle, defending, told the court Humble is currently serving a community payback order for a domestic matter.
The lawyer added that the former victim was a witness to the bottle attack.
Sentence was deferred until next month for background reports by Sheriff Ian Fleming who continued Humble’s remand in custody meantime.
