OVENBIRD Coffee Roasters have announced the opening of a brand new cafe location in Cathcart.
The well-loved coffee company, which supplies many independent cafes throughout the city, is currently based in Castlemilk, but will add their first own coffee shop in Cathcart in the coming spring.
The newest location will be found on Clarkston Road, near to Cathcart train station.
Ovenbird Coffee Roasters have previously teased the new opening in a post on social media, with a picture of work renovating the site, along with the caption "Our new home is coming up nicely".

The company will also see part of their coffee production, which normally takes place in their Castlemilk home, move to the Cathcart store.
The brand new coffee shop is expected to open at the end of March, although this may be delayed by any coronavirus restrictions that are announced before.
