A further 78 people have died after testing positive for coronavirus, latest figures show.
There have been a total of 1,753 new Covid-19 cases after 24,314 tests reported results.
The positivity rate is currently at 8.4%.
1,863 people are in hospital with recently confirmed COVID-19, up by three.
The number of people in intensive care is up by four at 145.
It comes as stricter lockdown restrictions were rolled out across Scotland from today.
Restaurants and cafes which have remained open for takeaway will now need to serve customers through a serving hatch or doorway.
Retailers that have been operating a click and collect service will need to stop doing so if they are not selling essential items.
Nicola Sturgeon announced that she will now introduce statutory guidance to make clear to ensure that employers support employees to work from home wherever possible.
For all employers, the basic message is that if your staff were working from home during the first lockdown, they should be working from home now.
