A Glasgow B&Q stores has been deep cleaned on Thursday after a worker tested positive for Covid-19.

The staff member was employed at the Drumchapel store on Great Western Road.

It has since reopened and the deep clean was a precautionary measure.

A B&Q spokeswoman told the Glasgow Times: "We can confirm that since Thursday, one colleague from our Glasgow Great Western Road store has received a positive (Covid 19) test result.

"As a precautionary measure that goes beyond Government advice, the store was deep cleaned. The store has since reopened."
