Neil Lennon has claimed that the coronavirus protocols in place for professional football are "ludicrous".

Following Celtic's trip to Dubai 13 players and three staff memebers were forced to self-isolate due to Christopher Jullien testing positive for the virus.

The Hoops have been without the players and staff for their last two league games where they have drawn against Hibs and Livingston.

Sneding an apology to the Celtic fans, Lennon said: "My apology is to the fans because 13 players and 3 staff had to isolate which is ludicrous.

"I'm not apologising for anything else. I'm not apologising for going out there and training for a week. I'm not apologising for the players having a day off"
