First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has paid a heartfelt tribute to former River City star, Andy Gray.
The Perth-based actor has sadly passed away at the age of 61.
The spotlight star left River City in 2018 due to a battle with MDS, otherwise known as Myelodysplastic syndromes - a rare type of blood cancer that causes a person's bone marrow to stop producing healthy blood cells.
So sad to hear this. Andy was a legend of the Scottish acting community, from City Lights, to panto, River City and so much more besides. He was also a funny and really lovely guy. He will be sorely missed by many. My condolences are with his family and friends. https://t.co/98u7aBxzr3
