Kevin Kyle has urged Celtic defender Shane Duffy to leave Parkhead this January window.
The Hoops centre back joined Neil Lennon's side on-loan from Brighton last summer, but he has failed to find consistent form and has come under constant criticism from fans.
Celtic have said that Duffy is still in their plans for the rest of the season but former Rangers striker Kyle reckons he would be better off returning to his parent club.

He told Open Goal: “See Shane Duffy? I don’t like saying this but I think he would just be better off going.
“Do it for yourself if anything else. The confidence is just zapped out of Celtic just now.
“I feel like they have accepted that it is over. I’ve said for a few weeks it is over with.
“When you are in a team you need to keep believing and keep working hard. I just don’t see that anymore with Celtic.
“We have all played football and when you are having a stinker you always say to yourself to just keep doing the basics right.
“You then get a bit of confidence and the better things start to happen. They are not even doing the basic things right.
“It is disrespectful to the football club and it is disrespectful to the fans.”
