THE body of a man recovered from a Canal in Clydebank yesterday is confirmed to be a missing James Coyle.

Mr Coyle disappeared from an address in Drumchapel in November last year.

Police Scotland have confirmed that formal identification has taken place.

The death is not being treated as suspicious. Mr Coyle's relatives are aware.

James' loved ones paid tribute on a Facebook page, which was set-up after his disappearance. 

His cousin wrote: "My family and I are devastated and can’t believe I am writing this but my cousin has been found today.

"We are absolutely heartbroken. My family and I thank everyone who shared his pictures every day and helped search and also thank you to the person who found him.

"My family can now lay him to rest and James we will never ever forget you and love you so much."
