TAKEAWAY customers landed two delivery drivers in self-isolation after they informed them they had the virus on their doorsteps.
Two unfortunate drivers were dropping off orders from the Lantern Chinese takeaway to homes where people were self-isolating after catching the deadly bug.
But instead of following delivery rules, the occupants allowed the drivers to come to their doors and take their money before telling him they had Covid.

The restaurant's owner said: "This was so stupid on the part of the customers.
"The delivery driver called me and was quite scared and I told him to just go straight home.
"They are both well and not experiencing any symptoms.
"The health and wellbeing of our staff comes first and I don't want anyone to feel unsafe."
He advised anyone ordering takeaways to pay by card on ordering and to allow drivers to drop the order on the doorstep and to give them time to walk back, so as to avoid coming into contact with someone who may have the virus.
