A CITY chippy chain will open its ninth branch in Glasgow after it revealed the location of its newest outlet today.
The Blue Lagoon plans to recruit 25 members of staff at a planned Queen Street location.
There are already eight branches of the fish and chip shop, with four in the city centre. Penilee, Parkhead, the Glasgow Fort and Partick all have restaurants.

Housed in the former Pizza Express in Queen Street, the new branch will sit 80 people and bosses at the chain hope to have it up and running by the summertime.
It is the fourth branch to be opened in two years.
The fast-food restaurant's Gordon Street branch made the headlines in 2016 after a visit from pop superstar Justin Beiber.
He ordered a deep-fried haggis and Irn Bur after a Glasgow gig.
