The Swedish defender aims to return home before his career ends to play for his favourite side Malmö.
Helander, 27, has impressed during his time at Ibrox so far, making 33 appearances in all competitions since his switch from Bologna in 2019.
But the centre-half admits a dream of his has been to return home to finish off his playing career alongside old pal and Brentford captain Pontus Jansson.

"Hopefully, I can play football for quite some time and that there is time for me to play again in the Allsvenskan as well."
