Ally McCoist believes five players could leave Celtic this summer as the Parkhead club prepare for a major reshuffle.

Jeremie Frimpong has already departer the club this January and reports have suggested that a number of Hoops stars want to follow the Dutchman out the Celtic Park exit door.

Neil Lennon is under increased pressure with the Celts struggling to keep tabs on Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership and McCoist has questioned the future recruitment plan of the Glasgow giants.

He told talkSPORT: "Where are they going, where are Celtic going?

"Peter Lawwell is retiring and that position has been taken by the CEO of Scottish Rugby (Dominic Mckay).

"So we know the change there, but nobody is really speaking about Lennon bringing players in because where I'm sitting it's going to be massive for Celtic.

"Frimpong's away and there will be another three, four, potentially five that will follow him.

"Who is going to bring these players in? Is there going to be a new manager, is Lennon going to stay?

"I think there has been automatic, and perhaps wrong, opinion that Lennon will move, do we know?"

On McKay McCoist added: "With the greatest respect to Dominic McKay, who is clearly excellent and has been excellent at his job with the SRU.

"But he is coming into a completely different entity with his job at Celtic. His job at Celtic he'll have to hit the ground running.

"His first job will be having to provide the manager, whoever that may be, with a playing staff that can compete to get the title back off Rangers who look winners this years.

"It's an unbelievable job that Dominic McKay is going to have and I'm not sure he's got the experience right now to come and in and handle it.

"He will really need Peter Lawwell and Dermot Desmond at his side."
