IT’S time to speed up the vaccination programme as the figures are extremely disappointing compared with down south.
Everyone wants to have a degree of normality back in their life but this doesn’t appear as if it will happen any time soon with the speed of the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccination.

THE SNP are always harping on about the democratic right of the people of Scotland to hold a referendum but they never tell you that they only have the support of 30% of the registered voters in Scotland.
More people didn’t vote than voted for the SNP.
At the moment, Nicola Sturgeon is in our face daily updating Covid but still campaigning for independence, it has now become boring in her daily speech.
Scotland is economically in trouble, education is worse than it has ever been, the NHS is near breaking point and the police conspicuous by their absence but we will waste millions on a referendum again.
When the SNP are beaten this year will they go gently into the night or will Ian Blackford complain the vote was fraudulent, the same as another blow hard?

I FEEL Glasgow City Council is doing double standards.
I have been harassed by Sheriff Officer Messengers to pay a council tax bill.
I try calling to speak to someone but all I get is a repeat message suggesting to pay online or the options to use an automated service.
I note libraries, gyms and museums all closed. I see lights not fixed, potholes not filled and graffiti everywhere.
I don’t see anyone take the council to task for not providing services and giving a refund.

YET another sheriff who should be a social worker (Glasgow Times, Monday)! Ned bites a cop and tries to stab another and gets restriction of liberty order.
Perhaps this sheriff has never heard of a custodial sentence. Useless.

ANOTHER weekend, and yet more shoppers deciding to avoid wearing masks.
I feel sorry for supermarket staff who are fighting a losing battle trying to enforce the rules when so many people have no interest in complying.
