The SPFL have confirmed the date and time for the third Old Firm derby of the season.

Celtic will welcome Rangers to Parkhead on March 21 and the match will kick-off at 12pm.

The Glasgow showdown will be shown live on Sky Sports and Steven Gerrard's men will be eyeing the fixture as a possible title party.

After last night's win over St Johnstone, Rangers are just six wins away from winning the Scottish Premiership crown.

If both Gers and Celtic win all their games from now until the March Old Firm fixture then the Light Blues will have the opportunity to scoop the title on enemy soil.

Early we told how former Gers striker Billy Dodds said it would be an "added bonus" if his former side could win the title at Parkhead.

He told Sky Sports: "That [winning the league at Celtic Park] would be an added bonus of course, I am not going to deny that.

"But I think just with Rangers not winning a title for a long time, just winning it is the main thing.

"Of course they would like to do it against their bitter rivals.

"But lets' be honest, as soon as they get the title the pressure is off.

"Because that is what they set out to do, to get their first title in ten seasons.

"There's no doubt about it, Rangers have just been relentless in the way they have gone about it.

"Whether it is winning games comprehensively or they had a tight game last night but they still find a way to win all three points."
