THE first raw juice and acai bar will be opening in Glasgow’s West End this year.
Glasgow entrepreneur Fallon Carberry will be opening Juicy UK on Byres Road this April.
It will contain the UK’s first custom acai bar.
Fresh cold pressed juices, protein packed lunch bowls, plant fuelled convenience foods and custom-made superfood bowls will also be on offer.
Fallon said: “I have been on a really personal health journey this past year, completely overhauling my diet and lifestyle. I train every day and I wanted to fuel my body with the nutrients it needs. It struck me how little choice we have in the city to do this.

“Glasgow has a bad rep for being a city of unhealthy eaters, but it seems more people than ever are keen to ditch the booze and looking for healthier alternatives.
“We want it to be the norm to see people all of all ages drinking one of our fresh juices rather than unhealthy choices packed full of sugar and other additives.
“When we saw the new location I instantly fell in love. We can’t wait to get our first shop open in the West end and we are already planning for new locations.”
